The railway

Since the middle of the 19th century until the early 30th of the 20. century the railway was a symbol of the identity of the country, which strives for progress.

A network out of rails and railway stations, which connect old historical communities, today look upon as a culturell ownership.  

A trip with those old trains removes us into the " good old time".

Asuncion owns next to that a railway museum " Museo Histórico Ferroviario", where you can take a look at exhibits out of the railway history.
