The four star Westfalenhaus Hotel in Asunción is very comfortable and modern. Almost everything has been included.

Our Package

- Trip to Iguazu (in Foz de Iguazu, Brasil you visit the largest waterfalls in the world) and you will visit also Itaipu (the largest Hydroelectric Dam in the world).

From Europe we recommend a flight with TAM or BA (the most direct and comfortable connection via Sao Paulo). From Europe the ticket costs between € 750,-- and € 950,-- and is not included in the package. From the United States you can take American Airlines.

These excursions are made in a 4x4 pick-up with air conditioning and if possible with English speaking driver. Minimum 2 persons.

Description of the tours:

PY 06: A BRIEF VISIT TO THE CHACO:

Just before sunrise, we will leave Asunción to a very brief escape to the FASCINATING PARAGUAYAN CHACO. The trip will take us along the Trans Chaco highway, where we will see
an infinity of wild birds (storks, geese, wild ducks, and many more) as well as the exuberant vegetation of the Bajo(Lower) Chaco. Many ranches will be seen from the road. Before inciating our return, we will regain forces with a typical "MEDIA MAÑANA" (late breakfast). ONLY FOR PEOPLE OF VERY SHORT TIME. THIS TOUR DOES NOT REPRESENT AN EXHAUSTIVE VISIT OF THE GREAT EXTENSIONS OF OUR IMMENSE CHACO, but You may appreciate a very small part of its hidden beauties. PHOTO-TOUR.

PY 05:CENTRAL OR GOLDEN CIRCUIT
On this tour of a whole day we will visit the mayor towns around the capital. We will be able to see: the neo-gothic church in San Lorenzo, Itá's art, the franciscan temple at Yaguarón, the cordilleran sights with its crystalline brooks of Paraguarí and Piribebuy. The spiritual capital of Caacupé with its basilica and the picturesque road to Tobatí are part of this trip. We will make a brief stop at San Bernardino on the shore of the legendary Ypacaraí lake. On our way back we will see the Ñandutí and Aho-poí crafts.

PY 02: YGUAZÚ FALLS, TWO DAYS:

Day 1: Early in the morning, we leave for CIUDAD DEL ESTE. On the way we will visit the Mythological Museum of Capiatá and the typical Ñandutí laces of Itagua. After a stop for lunch, we will visit the MONDAY-FALLS, the ITAIPÚ HYDROELECTRIC PLANT, the MUSEUM AND THE BOTANIC AND ZOOLOGIC GARDENS of the Itaipú- enterprises. Before sunset, we will cross the FRIENDSHIP BRIDGE to the city of FOZ DE YGUAZÚ - BRASIL, lodging and at night an unforgettable and unique DINNER SHOW AT RAFAIN.
Day 2: Breakfast (included) and visit to the YGUAZÚ NATIONAL PARK where we will spend the morning admiring the IMPOSING 8th MARVEL OF THE WORLD, the YGUAZÚ FALLS. On the way to the waterfalls we can visit the BIRD PARK and participate on the MACUCO SAFARI on the Yguazú river (not included). The order of the services may change if the tour is projected on Saturday or Sunday.
