The Creole formation of the Paraguayan people with indigenous and Spanish influences altogether are the reason of some peculiar customs of Paraguay such as affection for yerba mate herbs and the deep knowledge of the natural medicine.

Music, folklore dances, big popular celebrations, the horse riding ability competitions as well as the gastronomy based on the beef meat, the corn and manioc, guarantee the tourist will enjoy the stay right upon the arrival till the moment of the departure.

Many of the Paraguayan traditions go back into XVII and XVIII centuries at the time of Jesuit and Franciscan missionaries, who left splendid architectonic constructions and sculptures of the Hispanic-Guaraní baroque style.

Raquel Lebrn made herself known as a harp concert performer not only in Paraguay, but also in many Latin-American countries, as well as in South Afica, Europe and Canada, giving many concerts and lectures about the features of the Paraguayan harp. In Germany, in particular, she
performed in Berlin, Bonn, Cologne and Mainz and at the Opera Theater in Wiesbaden. She also participated in a film made by the ARD (German TV), a documental titled Harps of Paraguay, at the studios of the Voice of Germany (/DW-Deutsche Welle/). During a tour she made in that country, she was assigned Ambassadress of the Paraguayan Music by INTER NATIONS.

As a harp concert performer, she won many international awards. The repertoire of Raquel Lebron embraces, besides the most known compositions for this instrument, traditional and stylized folklore, Latin-American music, international music with orchestra and some classic music.
